New features for new iMacs next week

New iMacs should be on the market this week, according to AppleInsider, complete with Intel's latest Core processors and the new high-speed Thunderbolt port.
Apple's website describes Thunderbolt as a "revolutionary I/O [in/out] technology that supports high-resolution displays and high-performance data devices through a single, compact port."
Thunderbolt cables transfer files and video at 10 Gbps (gigabits per second), which is 20 times faster than USB 2.0 and 12 times faster than FireWire.
A refresh of the line also means the iMacs get an upgrade to the Core i5/i7 processor series already installed in the MacBook Pro line.
AppleInsider reports that all signs point to a release for the new line on Tuesday, May 3.
