Lenovo recently announced new smart devices will be coming to the land down under.

By using artificial intelligence (AI), unleashing smart features and deploying augmented (AR) and virtual reality (VR) Lenovo aims to unlock the power and potential of intelligent technology.

These devices aim to make transformative technology accessible to mainstream consumers and challenge the conventions of traditional category boundaries.

The Moto X smartphone, Tab 4 Home Assistant and Yoga 920 convertible with special edition models aim to bring users an unmatched number of ways to enjoy a more personalised computing experience.

The new 12-inch Yoga 720 convertible, Miix 520 Windows 10 detachable and ThinkVision P27u monitor extend the Lenovo line of PC-related devices as well.

The fourth generation moto X supposedly has a smarter camera that goes beyond capturing photos.

The detection feature makes the moto X4 camera the user's eye to the world, users just point the lens at an object, and it will ask if they want to learn about what they're seeing.

Users can also use the AR feature, which lets them add a layer of animations to photos or videos.

The moto X is also the first of Motorola's smartphones to feature Amazon Alexa, giving users more options when choosing a mobile digital assistant.

Alexa will be moving to the company's tablets as well, the family-focused Tab 4 series specifically.

The Home Assistant Pack equips the Tab 4 with the Home Assistant app, a powerful three-watt speaker and far-field voice detection with two mics so users can talk to, search and hear results from up to three meters away from any direction.

Besides offering the option to transform into a smart assistant, the Tab 4 also offers a Kid's Pack for a two-in-one and a kid's tablet and Productivity Pack to do more.

The Yoga 920 convertible furthers the journey to a smarter laptop with new smart pen functionality, voice recognition from a distance, mixed reality options, biometric security and other tools.

This device also recognises voice commands in standby mode and from up to four meters away.

Lenovo is a $43 billion global Fortune 500 company that aims to be a leader in providing innovative consumer, commercial, and enterprise technology.
