GIGABYTE has launched its latest innovation, the GIGABYTE AI TOP, at Computex 2024. This groundbreaking solution aims to revolutionise local AI training with its motto, "Train Your Own AI on Your Desk." Eddie Lin, CEO of GIGABYTE, highlighted the significance of this new offering, describing it as a critical step in the era of local AI.
GIGABYTE AI TOP follows the earlier launch of the GIGABYTE AI PC at CES 2024 and represents the second pillar of the company’s strategic AI framework. This new solution is designed to cater to the growing demand for generative AI by enabling users to train AI models locally.
The solution comprises three main components: the AI TOP Utility, the AI TOP Hardware, and the AI TOP Tutor. The AI TOP Utility is a user-friendly software that supports large language models with up to 236 billion parameters while ensuring privacy and security. The AI TOP Hardware offers flexibility and upgradability, making it a cost-effective alternative to traditional cloud-based training solutions. It is designed to work with standard electrical systems, eliminating the need for additional electrical infrastructure. Meanwhile, the AI TOP Tutor provides extensive consultation, setup guidance, and technical support, making it accessible for both beginners and professionals to embark on local AI training projects.
The AI TOP Hardware features a variety of GIGABYTE products, including motherboards, graphics cards, SSDs, and power supply units. Notably, the event showcased the Radeon PRO W7900 AI TOP 48G and Radeon PRO W7800 AI TOP 32G graphics cards. GIGABYTE is proud to be the first and only professional graphics card partner to collaborate with the AMD Radeon PRO series.

The AI TOP Hardware line includes the Radeon PRO W7900 AI TOP 48G and the Radeon PRO W7800 AI TOP 32G, demonstrating GIGABYTE’s commitment to delivering high-performance AI training solutions. These graphics cards, combined with other high-quality components like motherboards, SSDs, and power supplies, form a robust hardware foundation for AI TOP.
GIGABYTE has also announced its collaboration with top chip leaders such as NVIDIA. This partnership has resulted in the launch of high-end RTX AI PCs, which have been well-received for their exceptional user experiences.
