JMGO launches O2S Ultra smart tri-laser projector for USD $2,999

Fri, 21st Nov 2025

JMGO has introduced the O2S Ultra, an ultra-short throw smart tri-laser projector, to its product line-up for households in the USA and Canada. The device projects a 100-inch image from just 16.8 centimetres away, aiming to serve as an alternative to traditional televisions in modern living spaces.

Product positioning

The O2S Ultra uses an ultra-short throw ratio of 0.16:1, allowing installation within a few centimetres of the wall. JMGO positions the projector as a solution for homes where space and interior design are priorities. The projector is presented as a living room centrepiece that offers a viewing experience larger than typical televisions without requiring wall mounts or long projection distances.

"The O2S Ultra is more than just a laser projector; it's a game-changer in redefining home entertainment. With its compact size and cutting-edge performance, we're solving real-world problems for users who seek exceptional quality without compromising space," said Forrest Li, Chief Executive Officer, JMGO.

Visual performance

The O2S Ultra features JMGO's proprietary MALC 3.0 Tri-Laser Optical System, delivering 4K image resolution and supporting a colour gamut covering 110% of BT.2020. It produces 3,600 ISO lumens of brightness and a dynamic contrast ratio of 3,000,000:1. The device is engineered to maintain image quality in lit environments, which is cited as a benefit for North American households where family rooms often have daylight or ambient lighting.

The projector achieves a colour accuracy of ΔE < 1, targeting imagery that matches the creator's intent. It also works at close range to display a large image, aiming to make home cinema setups more practical in rooms with limited space.

Integrated audio

The sound system in the O2S Ultra was co-developed with Dynaudio. It offers room-filling, certified Dolby Audio and DTS-HD playback. The projector is intended to provide audio quality that may reduce the need for additional speakers or soundbars.

JMGO highlights the unit's aim to be an all-in-one solution that integrates both projection and sound, aiming to simplify home entertainment systems and minimise visible equipment and wiring.

User experience

The projector runs Google TV and supports integrated Netflix, providing access to over 10,000 apps and a range of streaming platforms. Native support for major services such as Disney+, YouTube 4K, Hulu, and Prime Video is also included, eliminating the need for separate streaming devices. Voice control via "Hey Google" is built in, enabling users to manage playback and compatible smart home devices by voice command.

Navigation is delivered through JMGO's modular Dashboard interface, which is designed for ease of use. The device's housing is constructed from recycled materials, targeting both sustainability and visual integration with home aesthetics. An optional 120-inch motorised screen is available for users seeking a dedicated projection surface.

Market availability

The O2S Ultra is available for customers in North America at a recommended retail price of USD $2,999.99 via direct sales and select retail outlets.

"Redefine Ultra-Short Throw: Smaller Size, Higher Brightness, Closer to the Wall, Bigger Screen," said Li.
