LG Electronics has set out its latest artificial intelligence strategy at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, unveiling an AI-led product line-up across homes, vehicles and entertainment under the banner "Innovation in tune with you".
The company is using the show to present what it calls "Affectionate Intelligence", an approach that embeds AI into devices, services and physical spaces. The focus spans domestic appliances, in-vehicle systems, televisions, audio products and its premium LG SIGNATURE range.
LG's stand is structured around five zones - Living, Ride, Viewing, Entertainment and Mastery in Tune - which each showcase different uses of AI in real-world settings. A separate "In Tune for Everyone" section links the technology push with the group's ESG messaging.
OLED centrepiece
Visitors enter through the "In Tune" Monument, a large-scale installation built from 38 LG OLED evo W6 Wallpaper TVs. Each TV is 9 millimetres, class thin. The displays are arranged as if floating to form a single visual canvas that runs synchronised content.
The Wallpaper TV also anchors the Viewing in Tune zone. Selected LG OLED evo Wallpaper TV models feature the company's Hyper Radiant Colour Technology and use a "True Wireless" set-up that separates the display and connectivity box. The company states that the design is intended to showcase an ultra-slim, wall-mounted profile.
LG is also showing its latest webOS software features, including AI Search, AI Concierge and AI Voice Control. These functions use natural-language processing and recommendation engines for content discovery and device management.
New display hardware at the booth includes the flagship OLED evo G6 series and Micro RGB evo TVs. Both run on the α (Alpha) 11 AI Processor Gen3. The processor uses Dual Super Upscaling that handles two types of AI upscaling at once. LG states this improves perceived sharpness and maintains natural-looking images. The zone also features a 136-inch AM Micro LED TV AI for large-format viewing.
Home robot push
Living in Tune area outlines LG's "Zero Labour Home" vision. The company combines the LG CLOiD home robot with AI-enabled appliances and its ThinQ services. The aim is a connected household that anticipates requirements and reduces manual tasks.
LG CLOiD sits at the centre of this zone with live demonstrations in three scenarios. In the kitchen, it supports meal planning for a family of four. In the living room, it performs wellness monitoring and assistance for active seniors. In the laundry room, it manages clothing and garments.
The robot is described as a home-specialised AI platform with safety and reliability as core design priorities. Demonstrations at CES show finger-level dexterity, full-arm movement and integration with the LG AI Home Platform, ThinQ. The company also highlights updated ThinQ UP and ThinQ Care services that deliver coordinated, proactive maintenance and support.
LG is using the show to debut LG Actuator AXIUM, a new brand of robotic actuators. These components combine motors, drives and reducers into compact joint modules for robots. LG positions AXIUM as a cost and performance-optimised line that draws on its appliance motor experience. It flags weight, size, efficiency and torque as competitive factors.
In-car AI
The Ride in Tune section focuses on software-defined vehicles and AI-based cabin systems. LG's In-Vehicle Solutions, which have received a CES 2026 Best of Innovation Award in the In-Vehicle Entertainment category, are shown through three modules.
The Mobility Display Solution uses the windscreen as a display for real-time driving data and mixed-reality content during autonomous driving. The Automotive Vision Solution applies eye-tracking and in-cabin sensing to monitor driver attention and passenger state. It then adjusts safety features and interactions.
The In-Vehicle Entertainment Solution supports streaming that moves between home and car. It also enables communication through vehicle side windows. Together, the systems run on LG's on-device multimodal generative AI platform that creates personalised in-car experiences.
Gaming and audio
In the Entertainment in Tune zone, LG has collaborated with Reddit on two gaming set-ups. One highlights console gaming using the OLED evo W6 TV and Aero Speaker. The other focuses on PC gaming with the UltraGear OLED GX9 monitor, which supports a Dual Mode of 5K2K at 165Hz and WFHD at 330Hz with AI upscaling.
The company is positioning these installations as demonstrations of wireless OLED displays, high refresh rates and low-latency play. AI upscaling features aim to sustain image quality at different resolutions.
Alongside gaming, LG is showcasing its latest xboom audio line developed with musician and producer will.i.am. The xboom Stage 501 targets stage and live-performance environments. The xboom Blast is a large portable speaker, while xboom Mini and xboom Rock address smaller, everyday use cases.
The xboom Studio area includes The Lab, which features FYI.RAiDiO, an interactive AI-based radio concept created by will.i.am. Visitors can engage with AI hosts, participate in themed stations and listen to live discussions about music, culture and technology.
Premium appliances
Mastery in Tune zone marks the 10th anniversary of the LG SIGNATURE range and features a collaboration with Italian luxury interiors brand Poliform. Each appliance appears within a furnished setting that reflects high-end residential design.
LG SIGNATURE refrigerator utilises a large language model-based conversational system for natural language interaction and personalised suggestions. The LG SIGNATURE Smart InstaView refrigerator integrates the ThinQ Food service. It uses an internal camera that identifies stored items, suggests recipes and recommends substitutions. Response accuracy and recognition vary depending on usage conditions.
LG SIGNATURE oven range includes an AI camera that can identify more than 80 dishes. The Gourmet AI function then selects cooking settings automatically. An AI Browning feature watches bread as it bakes and sends a ThinQ app notification when it reaches a pre-set browning level.
Accessibility focus
LG has also created an "In Tune for Everyone" space that links its technology portfolio with accessibility and inclusion efforts under its "Better Life for All" vision. The area introduces a "Comfort Kit" of add-ons that aim to make appliances easier to use for people of different ages and abilities.
The company is also presenting "Easy-to-Read Books". These materials target slow learners and children with developmental disabilities and explain appliance functions and usage in simplified form.
LG executives describe the overall CES 2026 presence as a demonstration of AI that senses conditions, processes data and acts in physical environments. The firm expects these approaches to appear across more products and categories in future product cycles.
