PPDS will launch a new digital signage series and announce a partnership with an AV manufacturer as part of its 2026 Philips Professional Displays line-up.

Few technical details were disclosed, but the launch will centre on an UltraSlim digital signage series within its Android system-on-chip portfolio. The new category will also be AI-ready.

PPDS will pair the product launch with a collaboration with what it described as one of the AV sector's most trusted manufacturers. While the partner has not been named, the agreement is expected to bring a new signage series and an integrated ecosystem for what it called total solutions.

The announcements come as display suppliers and AV vendors seek to expand their role in customer projects beyond screen hardware. Across the sector, companies have increasingly focused on software integration, remote management, energy use and sector-specific systems for retail, education, offices, hospitality and control rooms.

Product push

Alongside the new signage range, PPDS will show a broader set of display products for different commercial settings. These include the Philips Signage 5000 Series, a TAA-compliant Philips videowall display, the Philips Tableaux line and the Philips Unite LED 6000 Series All In One.

The stand will also feature dvLED and digital signage products for retail, education, corporate workplaces, food and beverage venues, transportation sites, hospitality, public venues and control rooms. The display set-up will use changing content across different form factors and technologies.

Energy use is another area PPDS highlighted. The line-up will include products and features aimed at improving energy efficiency and supporting more environmentally conscious operation, which could also lower day-to-day costs for customers.

That focus reflects a broader shift in commercial displays, as buyers place more weight on running costs, maintenance and power consumption, especially in sectors with large estates of screens or long operating hours.

Bruce Wyrwitzke, Senior Director North America at PPDS, outlined the company's positioning around the latest launches.

"Built on the foundations of over 134 years of innovation with Philips, PPDS prides itself on enabling businesses to bring their vision to life through tailored, cutting-edge innovations. At InfoComm 2026, we will deliver the latest advances in support of that strategy, as well as showcasing the latest solutions that will enable customers to truly display without limits. You won't want to miss it," said Bruce Wyrwitzke, Senior Director North America at PPDS.

North America focus

North America remains a key market for PPDS, with the launch framed as part of a wider regional push. The portfolio expansion is intended to give channel partners and end customers a broader choice of products and installation options.

Jack Boyczuk, Director of PD Sales at PPDS in North America, said the display maker was emphasising integration with partner products as well as functions already built into Philips Professional Displays.

"This year's Philips booth encourages visitors to explore the reaches of their imaginations, using displays together with our trusted partner solutions to realise the benefits of what's already integrated within Philips Professional Displays - including ultimate processing power and artificial intelligence (AI)-ready technologies," said Boyczuk.

PPDS said its management team and sales managers from local and international markets would be available for demonstrations and customer discussions. The company will maintain an open-access booth format so visitors can examine products directly.

Angela Lin, Commercial Head for North America at PPDS, said the company had combined new projects with portfolio development during the year.

"We cannot wait to welcome visitors to the Philips booth at InfoComm 2026. 2026 has already been an exciting year, with some incredible new projects, combined with the ever-strengthening of our portfolio and offering. With our incredible launches, as well as an array of future tech, together with a major new partnership, a visit to Philips Professional Displays could be a game changer for your business. We look forward to seeing you in Las Vegas," said Lin.

The new partnership and the UltraSlim signage launch are set to be the main additions to PPDS's commercial display portfolio, with both positioned as part of a broader effort to connect screens, software and partner products more closely within customer installations.
