Samsung doubles OLED TV range in Australia for 2025 launch
Samsung Australia has expanded its OLED TV range, doubling its line-up with new screen sizes and series for the Australian market.
The company's 2025 offering now consists of the newly introduced OLED S85F series available in 55-inch, 65-inch, 77-inch, and 83-inch options, an expanded OLED S90F series featuring six sizes from 42 inches to 83 inches, and the OLED S95F series also offered in 55-inch, 65-inch, 77-inch, and 83-inch formats.
With these additions, Samsung now offers fourteen OLED SKUs, doubling its offerings from the previous year's seven, to cater to a broader range of consumer preferences and home environments.
Simon Howe, Director – Audio Visual, Samsung Australia, stated, "We know that every Australian's lifestyle is unique so we have expanded our OLED range to provide more sizes, more models, and more personalised AI-powered features so Australians can choose an OLED screen that's perfectly suited to their needs. Backed by a new 7-years One UI Tizen upgrade guarantee, Australians can be confident that their Samsung OLED TV will continue to offer value-long term via personalised picture and sound experiences and exclusive Samsung endless entertainment possibilities."
The 2025 OLED television line-up is powered by Samsung's most advanced AI-driven 4K processors. The company says that the S95F and S90F models use 128 AI neural networks to upscale picture and sound quality automatically, according to both the room's conditions and individual content preferences.
Features such as Auto HDR Remastering, Real Depth Enhancer, Active Voice Amplifier Pro, and OLED Brightness Booster are included as standard across all models. According to Samsung, these enable the screens to analyse content in real time—adjusting variables like brightness, contrast, and audio to maximise the viewing experience. Vision AI enhancements allow the TVs to learn and adapt to users' favourite settings depending on the type of content being watched, including sports, films, or general programming.
The OLED S95F introduces an anti-glare coating developed to reduce reflections from ambient light, aiming for improved performance in bright Australian living spaces. Samsung states that with its new processor, the S95F is 30% brighter than its 2024 predecessor and leverages Quantum HDR OLED Pro to highlight details at varying brightness levels.
Smooth motion for games is a priority for the S95F, which supports refresh rates up to 165Hz VRR. With HDMI2.1 compatibility and AI Auto Game mode, the television is designed to optimise performance for gamers. Access to services such as Samsung Gaming Hub and Xbox Game Pass allows users to play over 100 games without requiring a standalone console.
The new OLED S85F series, described by Samsung as balancing performance and value, introduces an 83-inch screen size. The model shares the same AI processor as the previous year's S95D hero model, offering 4K AI upscaling and a range of premium features.
All 2025 Samsung OLED televisions feature Pantone Validation, providing colour accuracy according to the company, and designs that aim to fit seamlessly into various home décors. Notably, the S95F model is 12.6mm thin, with a near bezel-less Infinity Design.
In terms of audio, Samsung continues to integrate Q-Symphony technology across its OLED S95F, S90F, and S85F models, designed to synchronise sound with compatible Samsung soundbars for a multidirectional audio environment. The televisions also include AI Sound Optimisation, adjusting audio to suit room acoustics and the type of content.
Entertainment and smart home features play a significant role in the 2025 OLED range. The models run on Samsung's One UI Tizen OS, which will be eligible for updates for seven years from 2025. Users can access SmartThings for controlling and connecting home devices, utilise Samsung TV Plus for live and on-demand programming, and access the Gaming Hub for cloud gaming services. The suite also includes Samsung Daily+ for task management and Samsung Knox for device security.
Pricing for the new models will be set at dealer discretion.
