Samsung has launched its Black Friday campaign in Australia, with offers available through Samsung.com and participating retail and carrier partners.
The campaign spans the company's consumer range, including Galaxy smartphones, tablets, wearables, televisions, soundbars, home appliances and gaming monitors. It is also running flash sales and limited-time promotions through November on its direct sales site.
The launch comes as retailers and technology brands prepare for one of the busiest discounting periods of the year. Research commissioned by Samsung found that more than two-thirds of Australians shop during major sales windows such as end-of-financial-year promotions, Black Friday and Boxing Day.
On Samsung.com, Samsung plans 48-hour flash sales from midday every Monday in November and 24-hour sitewide promotions from midday every Friday. It is also running a separate 48-hour sitewide promotion from midday on Singles Day.
Additional online activity includes live shopping sessions, secret sales and a 30-day price promise. Channel-specific offers will also be available through retail and carrier partners, with pricing varying by seller.
Across categories
Samsung has positioned the campaign around a broad mix of consumer electronics and household products rather than a single device line. In mobile, it highlighted the Galaxy S26 Ultra, Galaxy S26 FE and Galaxy A Series. It also pointed to the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra, Galaxy Watch8 Classic, Galaxy Buds 4Pro and SmartTag2.
Beyond personal devices, the campaign extends to home entertainment and appliances. Samsung named the Frame TV, glare-free OLED televisions, Micro RGB TV, Odyssey monitors, French door refrigerators and washing machines supported by SmartThings among the products included.
The broad scope reflects how Black Friday in Australia has shifted from a short retail event to a longer sales season spanning multiple categories. For manufacturers with direct online stores as well as third-party sales channels, the period has become a key opportunity to drive both volume and visibility ahead of Christmas.
Trusted brand push
Samsung linked the campaign to its position in Roy Morgan's annual Trusted Brands Awards, saying it won the Consumer Products category for a fifth consecutive year. It presented that recognition as part of its effort to maintain consumer confidence during a highly competitive promotional period.
The awards reference gives Samsung a broader consumer message at a time when brands are competing heavily on price and timing. Trust and after-sales support have become more prominent themes in electronics marketing as buyers compare offers across direct websites, carriers and major retail chains.
Black Friday activity in Australia now routinely begins weeks before the traditional peak day, with brands using rolling discounts to capture attention ahead of rivals. Samsung's pattern of recurring Monday and Friday offers suggests an effort to keep shoppers returning to its site throughout the month rather than concentrating traffic in a single event.
The inclusion of categories such as refrigerators, laundry appliances and premium televisions also shows that Black Friday promotions are no longer limited to lower-priced accessories or older stock. Big-ticket household items are increasingly part of seasonal discount campaigns as retailers seek to encourage larger purchases before year-end.
Samsung said the campaign includes "offers across mobile, tablet, wearables, TVs and home appliances".
