The discounts apply to both consumer and professional categories, including digital cameras, premium lenses, portable electronics, and home entertainment devices. Items such as the FUJIFILM X-Half, Sony's E 15mm f/1.4 G lens, and Canon and Nikon flagship camera bodies are part of the sale. Apple's AirTag 4 Pack is included with a AUD $36 price cut off the usual AUD $165 RRP, reflecting the cross-category focus of the promotion.

Sales strategy

digiDirect is focusing on both in-store and online fulfilment for the sale. Customers have options such as click and collect at store locations, or home delivery with what the company describes as rapid shipping nationwide. Same-day delivery services are available for selected products in metropolitan New South Wales, targeting convenience for last-minute purchases.

In the statement on the sale, the retailer cited strong demand in previous years and highlighted efforts to ensure availability and faster service.

"Our Black Friday sale has proved extremely popular in recent years and we are geared up with more stock than ever for another significant promotional period. This year, working closely with our valued partners, we have an array of compelling offers on a range of highly-sought-after electronics which we're sure customers will want to take advantage of to save on the tech they love. We are also proud to offer an exceptionally fast shipping experience for customers shopping online wherever they are around the country, giving them convenient access to great value products when they shop with us," said Haig Kayserian, General Manager, digiDirect.
