Dreame launches T16 Pro TriForce vacuum in Australia

Dreame has launched the T16 Pro TriForce wet and dry vacuum in Australia, priced at AUD $1,499.

The new model is aimed at households dealing with spills, pet mess and general floor cleaning with a single machine rather than separate tools. It combines steam cleaning, hot water mopping and deodorising foam in one unit, alongside suction for wet and dry debris.

According to Dreame, the device uses what it calls Triple Water-Driven Force technology, combining 200°C steam sterilisation, 90°C hot water mopping and deodorising foam to help reduce lingering odours on hard floors.

The steam function is designed to reduce bacteria and dust mites by reaching into crevices, grout lines and uneven floor surfaces. Its hot water mopping system is intended to loosen grease, dried spills and everyday dirt while reducing the need for repeated passes.

For pet owners, the foam cleaning element is positioned as a way to tackle odours, including pet urine smells. Dreame says the floral-fruit-scented foam is applied in a targeted layer during cleaning.

Alongside those cleaning functions, the T16 Pro TriForce has 30kPa of suction power to pick up both liquid and solid debris. The machine also has a 180-degree lie-flat design for cleaning under low furniture such as beds and sofas.

Cleaning focus

The launch reflects continued competition in the home appliance market, where brands are pushing all-in-one cleaning products for consumers looking to cut time spent on household chores. Wet and dry vacuums have become a growing category as manufacturers add more functions to justify higher prices.

Dreame says the T16 Pro TriForce is intended to address common household cleaning challenges, including sticky kitchen spills, muddy footprints and pet-related mess. The machine also includes a dual-heat self-cleaning system for the brush after use.

That feature uses 200°C steam and 95°C hot water to wash the brush and help limit dirt build-up between cleaning sessions. The process is intended to reduce maintenance and keep the brush cleaner after each use.

With the T16 Pro TriForce, our focus was to make floor care simpler and more effective by bringing three advanced cleaning technologies together in one device. By combining high-temperature steam cleaning, hot-water mopping and deodorising foam technology, it delivers a powerful and hygienic clean while helping consumers spend less time on household chores and more time on what matters most," said Patrick Wang, Business Director at Dreame.

According to Dreame, the machine has an ultra-slim 9.85cm body and a metallic finish. Its design is intended to improve access in tighter spaces while maintaining manoeuvrability around the home.

Dreame, established in 2017, makes home cleaning and personal care products and says it holds more than 800 patents. The company has been expanding its range of smart home appliances as competition intensifies across floorcare, robot vacuums and other domestic cleaning devices.

The T16 Pro TriForce is available through Dreame and JB Hi-Fi in Australia.
