EcoFlow launches portable power solutions in Australia

EcoFlow has introduced two new portable power solutions to the Australian market, offering energy options suitable for both outdoor enthusiasts and those needing reliable backup during power outages.

The two products, EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus and EcoFlow RIVER 3 Plus, are designed to provide alternative power options and are targeted to first-time portable power users.

The DELTA 3 Plus aims at serving those in need of a dependable home power backup that is also portable, making it suitable for use in recreational vehicles, camping, and other outdoor activities.

Meanwhile, the RIVER 3 Plus offers a lightweight and easy-to-carry solution for users who require a steady power source during camping, road trips, or other mobile settings.

Australians have shown an increasing interest in outdoor activities, having taken over 15 million caravan and camping trips in 2023. This growing trend, combined with extreme weather events causing more frequent power outages, has heightened the necessity for reliable, portable energy solutions. "As Australians embrace the outdoors more than ever and with extreme weather events causing more frequent power outages, the need for available, portable power has never been greater," states the company.

The EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus offers features such as fast charging with a capacity of 1024kWh and an 1800W output. It can deliver significant power with an example being a 30-minute charge that provides at least five hours of backup for a refrigerator. Designed to operate quietly at just 30db when used under 600W, its compact design makes it ideal for camping, without disturbing the peace.

With a weight of 12.5kg, equivalent to a small family tent, this model is more portable compared to its predecessors and can continuously power appliances up to 2400W through its 11 output ports. This makes it particularly effective for use in RVs and other off-grid settings.

The EcoFlow RIVER 3 Plus, designed to be incredibly portable at 4.7kg, offers a 286Wh capacity and a range of charging options. It supports fast charging, which significantly reduces AC charging time to just one hour, with options including solar, car, and generator charging also available. This model can keep a Wi-Fi router powered for up to 35 hours and features a 10ms uninterruptible power supply capability, offering essential power continuity during outages.

Both models are available for purchase from EcoFlow Australia, Amazon Australia, and eBay Australia. The DELTA 3 Plus is priced at AUD $1,599, and the RIVER 3 Plus is available for AUD $499.

Earlier this month, EcoFlow also released the RIVER 3 with UPS capabilities, designed as a fast-charging solution suitable for outdoor adventures.
