Game of Thrones finale sees interest peak on Spotify

Last week's thrilling season finale of Game of Thrones has seen interest in the television show's Season 6 soundtrack peak on Spotify, according to the music streaming platform.

The Season 6 playlist features 26 songs and runs for 1 hour 30 mins.

According to Spotify, 'Light of the Seven' by Ramin Djawadi, the opening track in the finale episode, has seen a 5,827% increase in streams.

Spotify earlier this year released soundtracks customised to reflect several characters from the show. Fans could take a quiz to see which soundtrack would suit them best based on what character they were.
