Hisense unveils new C2 Family projectors in Australia

Yesterday

Hisense Australia has announced the release of the C2 Family, which includes the C2 and C2 Ultra 4K TriChroma Laser Mini Projectors, now available for purchase across Australian retailers.

The C2 Family was first introduced at CES 2025 and is designed for customers seeking a high-quality home entertainment experience. These new models feature Hisense's proprietary LPU Digital Laser Engine, capable of providing sharp image clarity on screens ranging from 65 inches to 300 inches.

Chris Kotis, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Hisense ANZ, commented, "We were blown away by the response our C2 and C2 Ultra received at CES2025, echoing feedback from the Australian market and retailers that more and more customers are favouring bigger-screen, immersive entertainment. With the introduction of the range, we're aiming to redefine the way people experience movies, sport and other content at home, bringing cinema-quality performance into living rooms across the country."

The projectors incorporate advanced technologies such as Auto Magic AI and DTS:X, enhancing the home entertainment experience by automatically adjusting to the environment for optimal picture and sound quality. Additionally, the C2 Family features a unique gimbal design that allows for 360° horizontal and 135° vertical rotation, ensuring adaptable picture and audio settings, whether content is projected onto a screen, wall, or ceiling.

Utilising Hisense's TriChroma technology, both models provide a visually impressive experience, supporting IMAX Enhanced and Dolby Vision, and covering 110% of the BT.2020 colour gamut. The C2 projector offers up to 2,000 ANSI lumens of peak brightness, while the C2 Ultra achieves up to 3,000 ANSI lumens, delivering vibrant and clear images.

The C2 Ultra model offers additional features such as an integrated subwoofer for enhanced audio immersion, 'Designed for Xbox' plug-and-play optimisation, and an optical zoom capability (0.9 ~ 1.5:1) to accommodate various room setups.

"With an industry-leading number of patents in Laser innovation, it's no secret we are passionate about the category and are dedicated to pushing beyond what's possible in the space. Our team has worked tirelessly to perfect every detail across both the C2 and C2 Ultra – from ultra-vivid colours and deep contrast to seamless connectivity and sleek design. We're thrilled to bring the C2 family to market from this month and look forward to seeing the big-screen appetite continue to grow," added Kotis.

The Hisense C2 4K TriChroma Laser Mini Projector is priced at AUD $3,499, while the C2 Ultra version is available at AUD $4,499. Both are accessible from leading consumer electronics stores and major Australian retailers.
