Ledlenser launches 25th anniversary torch range in Australia
Fri, 8th May 2026 (Today)
Ledlenser has launched a limited-edition collection in Australia to mark its 25th year in the market. The range includes two anniversary models, each backed by a 25-year warranty.
Included in the collection are the P7R torch and H8R headlamp, both finished in Smoky Black and updated with new charging features. They are available through Ledlenser's online store and at BCF, its national launch partner.
Designed for customers who use portable lighting for outdoor trips, worksites and everyday tasks, the anniversary range builds on Ledlenser's long-standing focus on consumer and professional lighting products. Founded in Germany in 1993, the company sells LED torches and headlamps globally.
Priced at AUD $259.95, the P7R 25th Anniversary Edition includes USB-C charging, a Mode Select Ring, up to 2,000 lumens, a body made from 75% recycled aluminium, and two rechargeable batteries.
Available for AUD $208.95, the H8R 25th Anniversary Edition includes USB-C charging, a rear red safety light, an extra rechargeable battery, and a washable adjustable headband designed for active and work use.
Warranty focus
A key part of the launch is the 25-year warranty offered on each limited-edition model. Ledlenser positioned it as a sign of product durability and a way to highlight the anniversary milestone in Australia.
The release comes as lighting brands place greater emphasis on product lifespan, rechargeable battery systems and material choices, as buyers weigh long-term value against replacement cycles. USB-C charging has also become more common across outdoor and consumer electronics products, reducing reliance on proprietary systems.
Ledlenser also highlighted its Advanced Focus System, which lets users switch between spot and flood beam settings. The feature has long been part of the brand's product design and remains central to its pitch for users who need one light source across different conditions.
Retail push
The limited-edition launch gives Ledlenser a fresh retail moment in a category where product updates are often incremental, driven by battery performance, brightness and wearability. By tying the release to its anniversary and adding a long warranty, the brand is seeking to stand out in a crowded outdoor and utility market.
Portable lighting serves a broad range of buyers, from campers and hikers to tradespeople and emergency users, making wide distribution important. Placement at BCF gives the products exposure to a large outdoor retail audience, while direct online sales let the brand target existing customers looking to replace or upgrade their models.
The two products also address different parts of that market. Handheld torches remain a staple for general-purpose and worksite use, while headlamps are often sold on comfort, hands-free convenience and safety features for moving in low light.
Both anniversary products are priced at the premium end of the category rather than the entry-level segment common in mass retail. The inclusion of additional rechargeable batteries in both packs suggests Ledlenser is targeting customers willing to pay more upfront for longer service life and backup power options.
In Australia, the launch builds on a longstanding focus on outdoor and work-related use cases, where torches and headlamps are marketed not just as recreational gear but as tools for reliability in remote or low-visibility settings. Every limited-edition product is backed by a 25-year warranty.
