Review: TomTom One XL

The One XL is pretty much exactly what the name suggests; a larger 4.3-inch version of the simpler ONE GPS system with Bluetooth capability.

Pros: The larger screen makes the ONE XL easier to read, and easier to use while on the road, while the features that generally make TomTom's GPS systems stand out, such as clear speaking directions and easy-to-read maps, are present. System GPS lock-on was swift in our tests.

Cons: The screen mount - while not so annoying as on the ONE - just features a push-in suction cap, and we were never terribly sure that it wouldn't fall off at any given moment.

Verdict: A very good GPS for the money.
