Tineco tops wet & dry vacuum market for fourth year
Tineco has been named the world's number one household wet and dry vacuum cleaner brand for the fourth consecutive year, based on global retail sales volume tracked by Euromonitor International.
According to Euromonitor, the brand held a 35% global market share in the household wet and dry vacuum cleaner category in 2025. The ranking covers sales volumes across 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025.
The recognition strengthens Tineco's position in a floorcare segment that has grown as consumers seek machines that wash hard floors while collecting dirty water and debris in the same process. Tineco reports more than 24 million users worldwide, with products stocked in more than 10,000 retail locations.
In Australia, the brand sells through chains including Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi, The Good Guys, Bing Lee and Costco, as well as online marketplaces and specialist retailers. Its local line-up includes the Floor One S7 Stretch Steam, Carpet One Cruiser and S9 Artist range.
Market position
Tineco traces its origins to 1998 as a vacuum cleaner manufacturer. It introduced its first smart vacuum in 2018, followed by a smart wet and dry vacuum cleaner in 2019, helping establish its presence in connected home cleaning products.
Its wet and dry floor cleaners include what it calls MHCBS, or Maintain Hygiene Clean Brush System, which uses a floating scraper to wash and rinse the roller brush with fresh water while reducing tangles. In Australia, Tineco has also promoted features such as HyperSteam, HyperStretch and FlashDry self-cleaning technology.
The broader range spans hard floor washing and carpet cleaning. The Floor One S9 Artist Series is positioned for smart wet and dry floor washing, while the Carpet One Cruiser is designed for deeper carpet cleaning.
The Carpet One Cruiser was also included in TIME's Best Inventions of 2025 list in the household category. Tineco says its newer Floor One S7 Stretch Series is designed to serve a range of household budgets.
The S7 Stretch Steam has received two TÜV certifications covering bacteria elimination and pet-friendly cleaning. Tineco says these certifications reflect the product's hygiene and cleaning standards.
Executive comment
Ling Leng, Chief Executive Officer of Tineco, commented on the ranking.
"Being recognised as the world's No.1 household wet & dry vacuum cleaner brand by Euromonitor International for the fourth consecutive year is a significant milestone for Tineco," said Ling Leng, Chief Executive Officer, Tineco. "This achievement reflects our ongoing commitment to innovation and our mission to simplify everyday life through intelligent technology. As consumer expectations continue to evolve, we remain focused on developing solutions that deliver powerful performance, convenience, and a better overall cleaning experience."
The latest ranking highlights Tineco's scale in a category shaped by product design, pricing and retail reach. Euromonitor based its measure on global retail sales volume in units for household wet and dry vacuum cleaners, which it defines as household cleaners that dispense clean water or cleaning solution to wash hard floors and then vacuum dirty water and debris.
Tineco says it now operates across floorcare, kitchen and personal care categories in around 30 countries. In household cleaning, wet and dry vacuum cleaners remain a central part of its offering.
