Bon Charge marks World Sleep Day with 25% sleep sale
Bon Charge is launching a 25% sitewide World Sleep Day promotion across its sleep, recovery, and wellness range, as interest in light-based and infrared tools linked to sleep improvement rises in Australia.
The Sydney-based brand says the limited-time sale applies across its online store. Discounts include several hundred Australian dollars off higher-priced devices, with smaller reductions on lighting and accessories.
The promotion comes as consumer sleep products expand beyond traditional bedding and supplements. Wearables, lighting, and heat-based products have gained attention as people try to adjust routines around screen use, late-night work patterns, and post-exercise recovery.
Survey findings
Bon Charge cites a survey of 2,000 Australian residents it commissioned on sleep and wellness tools. The results suggest recent uptake of red light therapy and blue light blocking products among users who associate those purchases with sleep outcomes.
In figures shared by the brand, 84% of red light therapy users in Australia started within the last two years. More than 20% cited improved sleep as a primary reason for using red light therapy, and 24% reported better sleep with use.
The same research indicates more than a third of respondents now use blue light blocking devices. A quarter of those users say they use them to enhance sleep, and the same proportion reported noticeable improvements.
Bon Charge also highlighted reported use of infrared sauna products among younger consumers. It says 56% of those under 35 have used infrared sauna products, with a quarter reporting they use them in relation to sleep improvement.
Discounted items
The sale includes price reductions on red light therapy devices, infrared products, and circadian lighting items, along with bundles and accessories positioned around sleep and evening routines.
Among the larger discounts, the Super Max Red Light Therapy Device is listed at A$1,499.25 during the sale period, down from A$1,999. Bon Charge says it supports "circadian anchoring" and recommends timed morning light exposure, which it links to improved sleep quality over time.
An Infrared Sauna Blanket is listed at A$749.25, down from A$999. Bon Charge associates it with evening thermoregulation and a wind-down routine that allows time to cool down before bed.
A multi-item Beauty Sleep Kit is listed at A$720, down from A$960. The brand says it includes a Red Light Toothbrush, a Red Light Face Mask, Crystal Blue Light Blocking Glasses, and a Blackout Contoured Sleep Mask.
Other reductions target the sleep environment. An EMF Radiation Blocking Blanket is listed at A$224.25, down from A$299, and a Blue Light Blocking Lamp at A$59.99, down from A$79.99. Bon Charge says the lamp filters out wavelengths it describes as sleep-disrupting in the evening, linking this to melatonin signalling.
Brand background
Bon Charge was founded in 2017 by Katie and Andy Mant. It began with blue light blocking glasses and has expanded into red light, infrared, circadian lighting, and PEMF devices.
Co-Founder and CEO Andy Mant said the sale reflects his own experience with sleep problems and the company's origins in consumer sleep products.
"World Sleep Day is personal to me as BON CHARGE was created due to my own sleep challenges. Rest is the foundation of longevity and our 25% sale is designed to empower our community with more accessibility to science-backed wellness tools so they can prioritise recovery in the long-term," said Andy Mant, Co-Founder and CEO, Bon Charge.
Advisers and positioning
Bon Charge says it has a Scientific Advisory Board focused on human performance, integrative medicine, and longevity, with advisers involved in product development. It also highlighted two recent additions: UK doctor Dr Rangan Chatterjee and Danish metabolic scientist Dr Susana Sóberg, known for work on cold and heat therapy.
Dr Sóberg linked the World Sleep Day period to stress and recovery, referencing red light and infrared technology in that context.
"This World Sleep Day reflect on the impact of stress with a renewed focus on recovery. Consider red light and infrared technology to support your body's balance and renewal system for a grounding experience. Start your wellness journey without disrupting your daily routine with post-workout comfort and relaxation in mind," said Sóberg.
Alongside the public sale, Bon Charge is also promoting a paid VIP membership. The company says the membership costs A$32 per year and includes early access to the World Sleep Day deals, plus a 30% discount for 24 hours.
Bon Charge says it will publish sleep tips and advice across its website and social channels during the promotional week.
