An official app for the iPhone and iPod touch has been launched for daily deal site Groupon.
The app allows users to purchase deals on the go, and redeem purchases directly from the device's screen, removing the need for printouts.
Users can also use the app in conjunction with their device's GPS feature to find deals close to their own location.
With Groupon operating in over 500 cities across 46 countries, the app is especially useful for travellers and people looking to get off the beaten track.
