Edifier partners with Officeworks to roll out audio range nationwide
Edifier will debut its range of audio products in more than 170 Officeworks outlets, marking the brand's first national retail rollout across Australia. The partnership aims to expand consumer choice in the mid- and high-end personal audio segment.
Store rollout
The move brings Edifier's headphones, earbuds, soundbars and speakers to Australian retail shelves and online buyers simultaneously. The range covers entry-level to high-spec products, targeting customers including students, hybrid workers and audio enthusiasts.
Among the new offerings, consumers will find wireless over-ear headphones, active noise-cancelling earbuds, portable Bluetooth speakers, and audiophile bookshelf speakers, with prices ranging from AUD $59.00 for a compact soundbar to AUD $1,099.00 for premium hi-res bookshelf speakers.
Market expansion
Edifier has seen strong growth outside Australia, particularly in North America, with double-digit year-on-year sales growth. The new arrangement with Officeworks is intended to leverage increasing consumer demand for versatile audio devices, both at home and on the move.
Product lineup
The product range includes models such as the WH950NB wireless over-ear headphones with active noise cancellation at AUD $229.00, S2000MKIII premium bookshelf speakers at AUD $669.00, and NeoBuds Planar TWS earbuds with planar magnetic drivers and noise cancellation at AUD $299.00.
Additional models span value and premium tiers. For example, the NeoDots offer dynamic drivers and 56-hour battery life at AUD $189.00, while the Stax S5 wireless planar magnetic headphones are available for AUD $699.00. Portable audio fans can select from waterproof Bluetooth speakers like the ES20 at AUD $99.00 or the ES60 at AUD $199.00. Professional and home users can access active multimedia or monitor speakers, such as the MR3 and MR5, with features intended to support a broad set of audio preferences.
Design and features
Across Edifier's lineup, there is a focus on balanced sound and build quality. Headphones feature frames reinforced with aluminium and soft padded ear cups. Select speakers and soundbars incorporate design elements such as wood finishes and ambient lighting. Features like active noise cancellation, high-capacity batteries, and wireless connectivity are standard in many models. The brand also supports customers interested in building an integrated audio ecosystem suited for both personal and professional use.
Audio market trends
The Australian personal audio market has experienced rising consumer interest, especially amongst those seeking flexible solutions for remote work or content creation. A full suite of Edifier products will now be available in a single retail channel nationally, with a focus on offering what is described as notable price-to-performance ratios across its device categories.
"We're absolutely thrilled to bring Edifier to Officeworks with a broad range of products readily available from launch," said Pink Wang, Director of International Sales, Edifier. "From hybrid workers and students to creators and dedicated audiophiles, our mission is to make premium sound accessible to everyone. With our cutting-edge audio technology and exceptional value, we're excited to offer Australian consumers a true performance-first alternative in the audio space."
