Edifier debuts ES speaker range at Officeworks in Australia

Edifier has launched three new speakers in Australia under its ES Series: the ES300, ES60 and ES20. They are available now through Officeworks, with recommended prices from AUD $99 to AUD $399.

The range includes one mains-powered tabletop speaker and two battery-powered Bluetooth models. Edifier says they suit different settings, from living rooms and home offices to beaches, campsites and commuting.

Home listening

The ES300 is a tabletop wireless speaker designed for home entertainment. It has a stated power output of 30W + 15W x2 RMS, with dual silk dome tweeters and long-throw mid-low drivers, supported by Class-D digital amplification.

The ES300 also includes TurbMuff Technology, which Edifier says reduces air noise, and MazeTube bass reflex channels. It is marketed as delivering deeper bass for music, podcasts and film audio at home.

Connectivity includes dual-band Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth 5.4 and wired inputs. The ES300 carries Hi‑Res Audio and Hi‑Res Audio Wireless certifications. Recommended price: AUD $399.

Outdoor focus

The ES60 is a portable Bluetooth speaker aimed at outdoor use, including barbecues, beach trips and camping. It has a stated output of 34W RMS (18W + 8W + 8W), using an oval mid-low driver, dual tweeters and a passive bass radiator.

It carries an IP66 dust and water resistance rating, covering dust exposure and strong water jets. Edifier says this makes it suitable for sand, splashes and changing weather.

Battery life is rated at up to nine hours. Edifier also points to its lightweight build and carry-friendly design. Recommended price: AUD $199.

Compact option

The ES20 is the smallest and lowest-priced model in the series, aimed at commuters, students and travellers who want a compact speaker for personal listening. It delivers 6W RMS through a full-range driver.

It includes a built-in high-sensitivity microphone for calls and is rated for up to 12 hours of battery life. The ES20 has an IP67 dust and water resistance rating, including protection against dust and short periods of water immersion.

Edifier positions the ES20 as an entry point to its portable speaker range. Recommended price: AUD $99.

Retail availability

All three speakers are on sale in Australia through Officeworks. The ES Series enters a crowded consumer audio segment, where buyers often weigh battery life, ruggedness, connectivity and price.

Edifier says its broader catalogue spans speakers, headphones and earbuds, with distribution in more than 70 countries. In Australia, the new line-up offers a clear pricing ladder, from a Wi‑Fi-enabled home speaker to lower-cost portable models.
