espresso Displays partners with JB Hi-Fi for ANZ launch
espresso Displays has announced a retail partnership with JB Hi-Fi, marking the first major in-store and online availability for the Australian-based tech company's products in Australia and New Zealand. The agreement will see espresso Display 15 and espresso 17 Pro available at over 100 JB Hi-Fi locations, as well as through the retailer's website.
The rollout of these portable touchscreen displays will begin this month. The products, which aim to meet the needs of increasingly mobile workers, include accessories such as a pen, case, cables, and screen protector. This partnership with JB Hi-Fi is a significant step for espresso Displays as it looks to expand its footprint within the region.
Will Scuderi, co-founder and CEO of espresso Displays, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration with JB Hi-Fi. "JB Hi-Fi is an Australian retail icon trusted by so many households, and people know they will get the best range of innovative tech to suit their needs," he said. "As one of few local tech brands making hardware, we now have the ability to reach more Australians and offer the opportunity to get their hands on our products—which is one of the most powerful ways to communicate how a premium portable display like ours can fit into someone's life."
The partnership allows JB Hi-Fi customers to interact with the displays' touchscreen features and experience firsthand why these products have become preferred choices for business travellers, mobile workers, creators, producers, and digital nomads.
Cameron Trainor, Managing Director of JB Hi-Fi Australia, also commented on the partnership. "We're delighted to partner with espresso Display as another example of JB Hi-Fi's commitment to help our customers with the latest in consumer electronics and technology," Trainor said.
espresso Displays' products have garnered acclaim within the tech industry, receiving multiple awards for their design and functionality. Recognition includes accolades from TIME Magazine, Good Design Awards, Red Dot Award, and the Consumer Electronics Show, among others.
Founded by a group of friends in Sydney, espresso Displays identified a gap in the market for premium, portable touchscreen displays that can be powered directly from a laptop through a single USB-C cable. The company prides itself on developing products that are simple, seamless, and compatible with a wide range of devices and workflows.
The espresso Display 15 and the espresso 17 Pro are crafted from a single sheet of aluminium, setting them apart in terms of design, durability, and seamless touch functions compatible with both MacOS and Windows laptops. The commitment to quality and functionality has been a cornerstone for espresso Displays, which has seen rapid growth since its inception.
Deloitte recognised espresso Displays as one of Australia's fastest-growing tech brands in its Tech Fast 50 2023 report. Founded just before the COVID-19 pandemic, the company has scaled its local R&D, product design, and engineering operations from its Sydney headquarters, growing to 30 employees to date.
