Samsung widens OLED TV range in Australia for 2026
Samsung has expanded its OLED TV line-up in Australia with three series, adding more screen sizes and introducing an OLED model with access to the Samsung Art Store.
The range includes the S95H, S90H and S85H. Samsung describes the S95H as its first OLED TV series to include the Samsung Art Store, which offers access to more than 5,000 artworks. The store includes complimentary curated art, with additional works available by subscription. An internet connection is required.
The Australian range also broadens the use of Samsung's Glare-Free technology. Certified Glare-Free is available on both the S95H and S90H.
Across all three series, Samsung is adding a new software feature called Vision AI Companion, described as a conversational interface designed for TV screens. It uses viewing information from Samsung TV Plus channels to provide recommendations and suggestions, though accuracy is not guaranteed.
Simon Howe, Director of AV at Samsung Australia, said the expansion reflects wider design and size options across the OLED range.
"In 2026, Samsung has diversified the design of its OLED TV range while bringing more of our flagship innovations across the line-up and expanding size options. As a result, we have made premium OLED performance accessible to more Australians while ensuring there is a size, Glare-Free option, and design suited to virtually every space in the home," said Simon Howe, Director of AV, Samsung Australia.
Screen sizes
The S95H series is listed in 55-inch, 65-inch, 77-inch and 83-inch sizes. The S90H comes in 42-inch, 48-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch, 77-inch and 83-inch options. The S85H ranges from 48-inch to 83-inch, with 48-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch, 77-inch and 83-inch models.
Samsung published a price guide for Australia with recommended retail prices, noting that final pricing is set at dealer discretion. The S95H starts at AUD $3,999 for the 55-inch model and rises to AUD $9,999 for the 83-inch. The S90H starts at AUD $1,999 for the 42-inch and goes to AUD $7,499 for the 83-inch. The S85H starts at AUD $1,999 for the 48-inch and reaches AUD $6,499 for the 83-inch.
Design changes
The 2026 OLED range introduces three design styles. Samsung says the S95H uses a "FloatLayer Design," supports flush wall mounting, and includes a metal back-plated bezel.
The S95H is also ready to support a Wireless One Connect Box (sold separately). Samsung says the accessory supports 4K transmission at 165Hz over distances of up to 10 metres, with performance dependent on the surrounding environment and potential obstructions.
The S90H uses what Samsung calls a "Laser-Slim Design" with an ultra-thin profile. The S85H is listed with a "Contour Design" and a 35mm-thin body.
Processors and picture
Samsung says the S95H and S90H use the NQ4 AI Gen3 Processor, which uses 128 AI neural networks and analyses content scene by scene. Listed features include 4K AI Upscaling, Colour Booster Pro and Real Depth Enhancer.
Motion features include AI Motion Enhancer Pro, which Samsung says targets blur during fast-moving scenes. OLED HDR Pro and OLED HDR+ are also listed on the S95H and S90H.
For sports viewing, Samsung has added AI Soccer Mode Pro on the S95H and S90H. The S85H includes AI Soccer Mode.
Gaming and audio
For gaming, Samsung says the S95H and S90H support Motion Xcelerator 165Hz. It also lists compatibility with NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, which require compatible hardware and settings. Samsung also describes an AI Gaming Optimiser that detects game genres and applies settings automatically.
Audio features across the range include Q-Symphony, which works with compatible Samsung soundbars (sold separately). Samsung says Active Voice Amplifier Pro analyses ambient noise and background sound, while Object Tracking Sound uses the TV speakers to track motion on screen. The S85H uses Object Tracking Sound Lite, while the S95H and S90H include Object Tracking Sound.
Software support
Samsung says its One UI Tizen OS platform includes up to seven years of upgrades, with a Samsung account and internet connection required. Built-in services include Samsung TV Plus, Samsung Gaming Hub, Samsung Daily+ and SmartThings integration.
Google Photos is listed as a new addition for 2026 models, allowing users to display photo collections as an ambient background. Samsung says S95H users can choose images from their own library, pick artwork from the Samsung Art Store or use Generative Wallpaper. Support for Bixby and Amazon Alexa is also listed, along with Samsung Knox security.
Howe said the S95H brings together features that previously sat across different parts of Samsung's range.
"Until now, Australians who love the realistic picture quality and Glare-Free technology of the Samsung OLED S95 Series have had to choose between performance and lifestyle benefits like access to Samsung Art Store or a wall-flush, framed design. This year, Samsung has brought these experiences together in the OLED S95H series, combining breathtaking OLED picture quality, powerful AI processing and thoughtful design innovations. Now Australians can further personalise their OLED TV experiences, whether they're watching movies, gaming with friends, or displaying their favourite art," said Howe.
