Turtle Beach launches Stealth Pro II headset in Australia

Mon, 20th Apr 2026 (Today)

Turtle Beach has launched the Stealth Pro II wireless gaming headset in Australia, with local pricing set at AUD $549.95.

Available in black and white, the headset comes in Xbox and PC/PlayStation versions. Pre-orders are now open ahead of the local retail launch.

The Stealth Pro II succeeds the earlier Stealth Pro and introduces CrossPlay 2.0, a system that lets users switch between up to four devices via wireless transmitters. The Xbox version works with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Bluetooth-enabled mobile devices. The PC and PlayStation version supports PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Bluetooth-enabled mobile devices.

Other features include simultaneous 2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth connections, active noise cancellation, dual swappable batteries rated for 40 hours each, and a unidirectional 9mm microphone with AI-based noise reduction. On compatible systems, the headset also supports Dolby Atmos and 24-bit/96kHz wireless audio certification from the Japan Audio Society.

Audio focus

The Stealth Pro II uses 60mm dual drivers with separate woofers and tweeters. It also includes built-in beamforming microphones, memory-foam ear cushions, a mesh suspension headband, and a charging dock for the spare battery.

Users can adjust audio and microphone settings through the Swarm II app, which includes a 10-band equaliser, microphone EQ, noise gate controls, firmware updates, and four built-in audio presets.

The launch comes as gaming hardware brands continue to focus on multi-device use, longer battery life, and features aimed at both gameplay and voice chat. Headsets remain one of the most competitive parts of the accessories market, particularly at the premium end, where makers seek to stand out through audio quality, wireless flexibility, and comfort.

In comments accompanying the launch, the company outlined its positioning for the new model.

"The Stealth Pro II represents the pinnacle of Turtle Beach gaming audio. The convergence of innovation, form, sonic clarity and comfort makes this, our flagship headset, the absolute new standard by which all other gaming headsets will be judged," said Cris Keirn, chief executive officer of Turtle Beach.

"With Certified Hi-Res Wireless Audio and powerful 60mm Eclipse dual drivers, Stealth Pro II delivers extraordinary sound fidelity that lets gamers hear every detail of the action. And with our CrossPlay 2.0 system, players can seamlessly switch between up to four platforms and devices at the touch of a button. What our teams have achieved here is remarkable - this is the headset that truly bridges the gap between high-performance gaming audio and premium listening," Keirn said.
