Vorwerk launches Thermomix TM7 in Australia & New Zealand

Wed, 19th Feb 2025

Vorwerk has announced the introduction of the Thermomix TM7, which is set to deliver an updated cooking experience with advanced technological features.

Thermomix TM7 has been unveiled, offering users features such as an AI-supported cooking assistant, voice control, a new 10-inch touch display, and seamless connectivity with smartphones and PCs. Additionally, the TM7 is equipped with a digital twin for real-time weighing and guidance, and a notable "Open Cooking" feature that allows cooking without the lid.

The Thermomix TM7 is priced at AUD $2,649 for the Australian market and NZD $2,849 for New Zealand, with pre-orders starting in April 2025 through Thermomix consultants. Shipments are expected in the latter half of 2025.

According to Dr. Thomas Stoffmehl, Spokesman of the Executive Board of the Vorwerk Group, the Thermomix community has played an essential role in the development of the new model. "Thermomix is the center of culinary experiences for many people – and we owe this above all to the close exchange with our community," he stated. "More than 116,000 consultants worldwide – together with our customers and employees – are shaping our world's largest direct sales community for high-quality household appliances."

On the technological front, the Thermomix TM7 has seen all its components, save for the mixing blade, developed anew. It maintains German precision and French craftsmanship by having motor production in Wuppertal-Laaken and assembly in France, a testament to Vorwerk's commitment to quality and sustainable production.

Stoffmehl mentioned the ecosystem that the Thermomix TM7 leverages, highlighting its integration with the Cookidoo recipe portal. "The Thermomix TM7 is much more than just a kitchen appliance - it is a smart ecosystem that is constantly evolving," Stoffmehl said, pointing to the recipe variety and smart cooking tools as part of the digital offers linked with the appliance. Future updates are anticipated to expand its capabilities further.

Vorwerk continues to acknowledge the successful legacy of the TM6, which has sold over 8 million units worldwide. "Over the past six years, Thermomix TM6 has brought joy and convenience to countless households," Stoffmehl emphasized. The TM7 is seen as both an advancement and a homage to its revolutionary predecessor.

For customers in Australia and New Zealand, who have purchased the TM6 between specific dates in February 2025, there is an option to either receive their TM6 units or upgrade to the new TM7, subject to company conditions.
